Strategie
In 2019, the Ouagadougou Partnership developed a youth strategy to intensify their leadership and skills and increase their participation in program design. This strategy gives a powerful voice to young people and allows them to define their agenda and priorities within the OP. Today OP governments are increasingly focusing on reproductive health education for young people; OP donors direct funds to youth-focused programs to expand efforts to increase opportunities for them, and OP implementing partners support access and use of adapted services.
Why a strategy now?

The Ouagadougou Partnership gives a powerful voice to young people in defining its agenda and priorities for achieving its new goal of reaching 13 million users of modern methods of contraception.
